The Case of Caitlynn French
"From a soundproof asylum for capturing voices in Austin, Texas, there recently emerged an exceedingly singular person. She bore the name Caitlynn Lindsay Shae French, and was removed most reluctantly by a tiny greiving figment of her wild imagination, who had watched her creator grow from playing quirky games of make believe to the dark passions of theatre involving possibilities of iambic pentameter, union of song and dance, wearing of false faces, and non-euclydian geometries to establish the fourth wall only to break it. The price of participation in these rituals was a profound and peculiar change in the contents of her mind. No one is all that terribly surprised."

I am a by product of a generation full of Saturday morning cartoons, video games, and my over active imagination. After finding myself unable to move beyond any of these 'childish' loves the only obvious occupation left to pursue, after my letter to Hogwarts never arrived, was Theatre.
About four years ago I was called in for an audition and was cast in my first show, The Book of Bantorra. From there I've had the pleasure of playing characters such as Chiaki Kurihara (Bodacious Space Pirates), Mei Tachibana (Say "I Love You"), Hana Isuzu (Girls und Panzer), Matsurika Shinnouji (Maria Holic, Maric Holic ALIVE), Mio and Midori Nishizono (Little Busters, Little Busters Refrain), Miyu Edelfelt (Fate Kaleid liner Prisma Illya), Ai Astin (Sunday Without God), Shiro (No Game No Life), and most recently Naru Sekiya (HaNaYaMaTa). There are far more characters that you can find listed on my resume or see in my visual resume gallery, deciding which ones to list is always so hard, it's like picking favorite children.
If it wasn't obvious already by the design and theme of this site, I'm a huge dork, that loves not taking herself seriously. I love Lovecraft, anime, video games, MMOs, comic books, pen & paper tabletop RPGS, and writing stories. To be completely happy I need to create. To take a piece of work and help bring it to life. I'm a little Dr. Frankenstein when it comes to my creativity sometimes.
As an actor I love performing in any medium. If you have a project you'd like me to audition for, feel free to contact me. I have a small, ever evolving home studio, and am willing to travel for some projects.
